Seminar at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign

On October 13, 2026, Dr. Ilya Kovalenko delivered the seminar “Control and Automation Architectures for Adaptive and Safe Manufacturing Systems” at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, hosted by the Department of Mechanical Science and Engineering.

His talk explored how model-based, adaptive, and distributed control strategies can improve manufacturing flexibility while supporting safe and predictable operation, with examples from simulations and experimental testbeds.
